Meet the Redwood City Team Behind Warmline Insulation Co.
We’re not a franchise that flies techs in from three counties away. The crew that shows up at your door in Redwood City, Emerald Hills, or Woodside Plaza lives here, shops here, and has probably waved at you at the farmers market. Neil Ashford has spent 15 years building a team that treats your attic like it’s their own: background-checked, uniformed, and trained on the materials you’re actually paying for. Most of our guys have been with us five-plus years, which in this trade says more than any mission statement.
Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has run insulation crews across the Peninsula for eleven years, the last six of them with Warmline. He’s our guy for crawl space encapsulation jobs where the access is tight and the existing vapor barrier has basically turned to confetti. Marcus holds a BPI Building Analyst certification and has probably forgotten more about attic airflow than most contractors ever learn. He once found a 1974 Sears catalog stuffed into a wall cavity in a Woodside ranch house. He keeps mentioning it at company meetings. We’re not sure why.
Dana R. – Senior Installer
Dana came to us from a framing background, which shows in the way she handles retrofit wall insulation. She’s been with Warmline for seven years and leads our spray foam and blown-in installs across Redwood City, San Carlos, and Belmont. Dana is our in-house Owens Corning and Rockwool specialist, and she’s the one who walks every homeowner through exactly what’s going in and why before we fire up the equipment. On weekends you’ll catch her hiking at Huddart Park, assuming she’s not fixing something at her own place.
Elena V. – Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone at 6 a.m. and the one who knows which crew can squeeze in a same-day job in Redwood Shores without making anyone rush. She’s been with Warmline for four years and came from a plumbing dispatch background, so scheduling chaos doesn’t phase her. Elena keeps the single-visit promise honest: she confirms material availability before you ever get a window, and she’ll tell you straight if a two-day job actually needs two days. She also remembers every dog’s name at every house we’ve ever visited. It’s uncanny.
Jose A. – Apprentice Installer
Jose joined us two years ago through a building trades program in the East Bay and has turned into one of our sharpest attic air sealing techs. He works under Marcus and Dana, which means he’s learning encapsulation, radiant barrier, and removal the right way: slowly, carefully, and with a senior tech on every job. Jose grew up in a 1950s house in Redwood City that leaked air like a screen door, and he’ll tell you that’s why he got into this line of work. He’s also the only person on the crew who can back a box truck into a driveway on the first try, every time.
